H.I.R.H. Prince Dom Pedro Bourbon of Orleans & Braganza, honours the House of Kamakahelei

His Imperial and Royal Highness Prince Dom Pedro Bourbon of Orleans and Braganza, the current Head of the Royal House of Brazil & the Petropolis Branch of the Imperial Family, honours members of the House of Kamakahelei by bestowing ranks in the Imperial Order of the Rose ‘Imperial Ordem da Rosa’.
The Order of the Rose is a Brazilian order of chivalry, instituted by Emperor Pedro I of Brazil on 17 October 1829 to commemorate his marriage to Amelie of Leuchtenberg..

H.R.H. Prince Darrick, custodian of the heritage and culture of the Kingdom of Hawai’i, bestowed H.I.R.H. Dom Pedro with the rank of Knight Grand Cross of the Royal Order of Kamehameha I. Officers of the Royal house of Brazil were also honoured by H.R.H. Prince Darrick.
