H.R.H. Princess Anna supports the UNA-USA
H.R.H. Princess Anna supports the work of the UNA-USA (United Nations Association of the United States of America) and has joined the Pasadena Chapter in California, USA.
For many years, Her Royal Highness has been active in supporting the areas of education, youth and community health both within Hawai’i and on mainland USA. And in joining the UNA-USA, the reach of the House of Kamakahelei will now extend further into the greater community, both locally and internationally.
‘The mission of the of the United Nations Association of the United States of America (UNA-USA) Pasadena Chapter is to generate local support for the United Nations and its commitment to permanent global peace, justice, freedom & wellbeing.’

In particular, their Royal Highnesses endorse the above developmental areas that relate to the Indigenous communities of the Pacific islands and the Americas.
H.R.H. Princess Anna’s heritage is equally both Spanish/Mexican and Native American with ancestral links to Africa as well. Thus, she is a daughter of the world and well qualified to pursue her philanthropic endeavours.
‘The UN’s Member Nations have adopted a set of negotiated Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), or Global Goals, to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure prosperity for every human being. After over 7 million people with diverse background around the world gave input (70,000 from the U.S.), a set of 17 inspiring goals were selected to inform the UN’s 2016 Sustainable Development Agenda. Each individual goal is intertwined with multiple other goals, all with specific targets to be achieved over the next 15 years.’
